SASSY Maine Coon & Domestic Long Hair Mix Murrieta, CA

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


SASSY was rescued from a tree in Lakewood, California. Our independent trapper friend was called to come help. Once they were able to get her out of the tree, they discovered she was very skinny, malnourished and had mange. Rescue mama was asked to help and she couldn't say no.


SASSY is your typical teenager. She loves to be petted. When you pick her up, she will stay still and allow pets. Then she's off to play and play and eat something and then play again. She absolutely loves her wet food, She will be ok by herself or with another cat. But as her name states....she is SASSY. Will need proper introduction, She is very fond of her roommate, RACHEL VALDEZ.


SASSY is DOMESTIC LONG-HAIR MAINE COON MIX. She is about 10 months old and is good with cats. She has never been around young children and she is very curious about dogs.


SASSY is currently at PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue.


ADOPTION PROCESS:

2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

SEPTEMBER 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. Volunteers in the evening are only there in the evening for 3 hours. Please call the PetSmart location or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. VISITING HOURS are based on volunteer availability.


The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
