Sassy Birman Mix Mission Viejo, CA

Sassy was rescued from the street we don't know what happened to her but at some point I believe she has been hit on the head. She is very hand shy to the head. Once she trust you, you can pet her around the head but when she's had enough she will bat at you, usually without the claws.

I think she was someone's very spoiled only kitten that somehow ended up on the street since she is not keen about having other cats around her, although she tolerates them.

She will make someone a wonderful companion but you need to be patient with her. She truly likes to interact with people but the adopter needs to be an experienced cat person, with the patience of Job and will NEVER hit her even if she bites. If you try to force her to do something she panics and may bite, that's why I believe she was abused.

I would not recommend her to be in a household with small children, probably no children is best. Also a quiet home. I truly love Sassy and know the right person for her is out there.

She has a wonderful playful personality and plays with the toys and rugs and about everything around her. She will roll around the floor in pure delight.

Sassy is an alpha cat she can co-exist with other cats but right now she does not want to be buddies with any of them. I think she would be happiest as a single. She would probably be fine with the dog that is cat friendly but doubt if she would be buddies with them,

Sassy is spayed, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, current on shots, dewormed and flea free.
