Sasha Domestic Short Hair Brooklyn, NY
- Spayed / neutered.
Petfinder recommends that you should always take reasonable security steps before making online payments.
Age: Approximately 1 year as of March '21.
Temperament: confident once she gets to know you, can be a little sassy, picky eater, playful, curious, chill.
It's recommended that Sasha go to a home with another cat companion.
Sasha (or "Dragon" as she is nicknamed in her current foster home) is a wonderfully curious young cat with kitten energy who loves the play-hard/nap-hard lifestyle. She is a confident gal who will follow you around and keep you company for any activity, whether it's cooking, sewing, or brushing your teeth.
Sasha loves people, but she's also a girl with boundaries, and she's not a huge fan of belly rubs or being held. She's a big fan of children, but she is still learning how to discern between human children and kitten friends during playtime. Thus, we think she'd do best in a home with another cat who can roughhouse with her and teach her how to play with kids gently. In her current foster home she has a fellow kitten playmate who fills this role for her, and they have become fast friends - it's either constant kitten stampede or full-on naptime!
Sasha has incredible jumping skills and loves a good perch to watch her humans and all their fascinating activities. She is so slinky and investigative that her foster mom gave her a bell necklace to keep track of her!
Sasha seems fascinated by any water source and she LOVES to explore any beverage anyone seems to be enjoying - she loves drinking water out of human cups! When it comes to food, however, she can be a bit picky and currently only eats Purina ProPlan wet food.
