What is Kitty City Cat Rescue’s adoption process?

SPECIAL NOTICE: Currently, Kitty City Cat Rescue is open for adoptions ONLY. Adoptions will be by appointment, between 10-1 on Tues and Wed and 10-2 on Sat and Sun. Please wear a mask during appointment. There will be a limit of only 2 folks per appointment visit. To make an adoption appointment, first please submit an application and we'll set up appointments based on application approval. The adoption application can be downloaded from this website. Then email to kittycitymacon@yahoo.com. There will still be no visitors or new volunteers allowed at this time. The kitties will miss all the extra attention and they hope the restrictions won't last too long. Check back with this site or Kitty City's facebook page for any updates. Thank you for you cooperation and understanding in the effort to help keep people safe! Thank you for considering a Kitty City cat for your family! Visiting the shelter is a primary condition for adoption. The ability to download, print, and fill out an application at home to bring with you is merely a convenience. Please understand that filling out the application does not guarantee that there is a Kitty City cat suitable for you. Adoptions will not be done online, over the phone, or through FaceBook. All adoptions are done at the shelter. As per the adoption agreement, for their own health and safety, Kitty City cats are to be indoor cats only. And, under no circumstances is a Kitty City cat to be maimed by "declawing". Adoption fee is $140 for one cat/kitten or $260 for two.
