SARGE and MUSTANG SALLY are a wonderful bonded pair of black panthers; they are sweet and loving and absolutely adore hanging out with their people. Sarge is a confident and assertive boy with red undertones, about 5-1/2 years old; he is affectionate, loves to be petted, and can be very talkative! He likes to let his people know he's around, and will proudly own the room. He enjoys batting around little balls and lounging on the hardwood floor to relax, but is mostly a low-key guy. Sarge is bonded to his little 1-year-old sister Mustang Sally and likes to keep track of her comings and goings. Mustang Sally is a ninja wanna-be. She is a cute, stealthy little ballerina, who appears to walk on her tippie-toes. Sleek and quiet, she'll surprise you with her sweet little presence just to check in and see what you're up to. Sally likes to hear the sound of her own voice and will sometimes talk for no reason at all. Mustang Sally is still under a year old, so she is more playful than Sarge. She really enjoys playing with her feathers, a cat tunnel, and especially her blue stuffed mouse. Mustang Sally likes relaxing on a tall cat perch to survey her territory from a distance. Both these kitties enjoy checking out the world from a window. Sarge and Mustang Sally came to our cat rescue group when their person moved and could no longer keep them. They were temporarily cared for by a friend until they came to us. Now these two are looking forward to being adopted into a forever home. Mustang Sally does not like other cats in her space, and will react strongly by bristling up her tail when she sees another cat. Sarge and Mustang Sally will be happiest as the only cats, absorbing all of your attention. The bonded pair will make loving companions for someone who can offer them the stable home they deserve.
They have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), altered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet Sarge and Mustang Sally in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The adoption fee for the bonded pair is $215, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
