Sansa Dilute Calico Jersey City, NJ
- Coat length
- Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered.
Sansa was rescued from the back of a Pizza restaurant in Hoboken after two JerseyCats fosterers were alerted to her situation.
They got to her just in time...this lovely lady was skin and bones, but sweet as can be, and the streets were no place for her to live, especially once we saw her and determined she had Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH).
CH is a disorder NOT a disease, in which the cerebellum is not completely formed at birth and the concensus on the cause for Sansa was likely malnutrition or injury while in utero, as she is the picture of pefect health otherwise. CH causes jerky movements, tremors and generally uncooridnated motions but Sansa only displays jerky movements when she is excited to see her people or of course her food!
Sansa is so grateful to be inside after her difficult start to life, has quickly adapted to the luxuries of indoor living and is ready to make the move from foster cat to forever cat.
Sansa is in a foster home with other cats and dogs, and seems like a kitty who is pretty much up for anything life throws at her!
She is a SURVIVOR with a heart of gold!
