Meet Sammy Odd Eyed Kuwaiti Siam/British SH

Sammy is an Odd Eyed Siamese British Short Hair mix but what makes him doubly odd eyed is that he does not have the typical blue and green combo but green and amber! This very friendly, sweet 1y boy purrs asking for his head rubs and cuddles. He hates loud voices. He follows us everywhere and rubs up against us seeking attention and love. He is long legged, typical for the Siam mix he is and a very vertical boy--loves to be up high so please have tallllll cat trees for him! He is ok w/ one or 2 cats but a crowd scares him. Please apply as he is unhappy in his multicat foster home.

Rescue story: He was rescued from another hell hole from a breeder who dumped him on the street. Cats are dumped in that place and guys come at dawn pick up all the friendly ones for dog baiting or to be sold off! We were there trying to rescue another cat and he and his other friends were all there begging for attention--how could we say no?

All our cats are in the NY area and can be adopted out of state. We do like to meet you so plan on picking up; if flying, in cabin only; in some cases we will help with transport.

Please note: kittens MUST be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we are happy to recommend cats who would do best as solos. Cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv tested, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.

Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, you can perhaps foster, volunteer, and of course, you can always donate!
