Meet Sammy,
This handsome man with the jet-black fur is a very chill and relaxed guy. Before being rescued by FFF and his current foster mom his front paws were declawed. He loves to be pet and revels in your attention. He is talkative and enjoys holding conversations with you while showing off his one long snaggletooth! He loves to make biscuits on your hair and rub his face into yours.
Sammy's vision isn't as sharp as it used to be and at times he may forget where you are and will meow for you while facing the wall. He reminds you that he needs you to love him and give him a helping hand when he is stuck in a corner or forgets where he was originally headed. Once you come over and point out to him the direction he was going, he becomes overjoyed with excitement that you were there to help him out, and in return he doles out more love and affection than your heart can contain!
Sammy will enjoy joining a quieter home environment with adults and older teenage children. He is very food motivated but is diabetic and requires low carb food and insulin shots every twelve hours. He takes them like a champ! This brave feline has currently been residing with other cats and a laid-back dog and gets along with everyone in the household, human and animal companions alike. He can be adopted into a home with another laid-back cat or furry canine friend given a slow and proper introduction. He can also shine as the only pet in the home and be King of the Castle!
He isn't a playful guy but every once in a while, you may catch him batting around a catnip toy! He loves to curl in a cozy bed or on your lap while holding his feet. He's also very content just hanging around with you. This wonderful feline is chill and relaxed, and he adores his human friends! He is very much a people's cat. Sammy's true passion lies in receiving pets and cuddles from his favorite people! If he were able, he would possess the power to teleport into your lap at any given moment!
