Sam Domestic Short Hair Mix Minneapolis, MN

Sam is the sweetest little guy! Sam loves to be with his humans and is a great entertainer and co-worker! I believe Sam would do great by himself or with another kitty friend or a kitty friendly dog. He was handled by my 5 year old granddaughter since he was 3-4 weeks old so he does well being handled and carried around. Sam currently lives in a home with 3 dogs, one of which LOVES kitties. Sam likes to give rubs and head butts to the resident foster dog and doesn't seem to annoyed by him, but he isn't afraid to let the pup know when he is in his space or is annoyed by him (my dog likes to be a push over sometimes and doesn't know when to quit).

Sam is litter box trained, I have not seen him try scratching anything other than his climbing posts. He loves his toy mice, feathery toys, wands, and his grass box with balls inside. Sam cannot wait to be in a forever home for Christmas. Sam is estimated to be 8 weeks old and weighs about 2 lbs. All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 100 mile radius of Minneapolis.
