Sally Domestic Short Hair Fredericton, NB

Sally was rescued with her mom, Dolly, and siblings, Linus, Snoopy and Pippy, in August 2022. Sally was adopted in 2023 (and renamed Luna) but, by no fault of her own, was returned almost a year later and is once again in search of her forever home.

Although Mom Dolly was friendly, Sally and her siblings were terrified of humans. Sally is still a timid girl but will come out to play with a feather stick and treats and will sometimes lick squeeze up treats off your finger if you are down on the floor at her level. She is not at all aggressive and actually prefers to go inside a tube for her squeeze up to keep away from the more aggressive cats. Sally will otherwise run away if you try to reach out to pet her although she has very gradually been allowing pets with a toothbrush attached to a long stick.

Sally is a gorgeous girl and will need a home with a very patient family who will spend the time playing with her and working to earn her trust. She gets along well with other cats and is not competitive or aggressive. She just needs time, love and patience….and treats would also help.
