Meet Saint (FIV+) - Pending Adoption
Saint is an energetic and loving 2-year old black cat in search of his own patronage to call home.
Saint channels Saint Sebastian of the athletes as he chases toys around the home and is always in pursuit of the elusive string toy.
When not playing, he becomes Saint Gummarus of the Guardians protecting the home from all evil spirits, as well as those nefarious squirrels and rabbits outside the window.
After ample play and guarding, he is happy to transform into Saint Dymphna of sleep to nap and snuggle next to his human.
Saint has had happy meetings, like Saint Raphael, with other cats and young children. However, due to his FIV+ status he must be either an only cat or with another cat of FIV+ status. He has not yet had the chance to channel his inner Saint Roch of dogs, so we are unsure whether their meeting would be heavenly or disastrous.
Saint is a sweet and playful cat that has faith the perfect home for him is out there. Are you ready to canonize this sweet boy into your family ranks?
FIV+ cats are positively adoptable! Recent studies have indicated that FIV may not reduce a cat's lifespan, and cats may live for many years after being infected. However, it is important to monitor their health and provide a low-stress environment.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
