Meet Sahara, a 2-year-young beauty in need of a forever home. When she was rescued, she had just given birth to a litter of kittens who have all since been adopted.

She’s a quiet, gentle girl… loves her foster mom and follows her around the house. She adores to sit by you and enjoy whatever you are enjoying. That said, she can be playful too!

Sweet Sahara tested positive for FIV, which is absolutely not a big deal, and she can live a long, normal life. She can also live with other kitties as long as there is no fighting. It’s only transmitted through mating or an extremely serious bite wound. And only to cats — not dogs or humans.

All Jake’s Place cats available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.

The Adoption Fee for Sahara is $110. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails at any time. All Fees will be returned if the adoption fails within 90 days. 

Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
