Sadie's Story

Sadie is such a gem. She is one of the most affectionate cats we've ever met- the second her foster parents come into her room she starts purring and making biscuits. If they sit down, she instantly gets on their laps, rolls over and starts making air biscuits. She is not afraid of anyone and is just happy to be receiving affection from whoever is around. Getting a picture of her is a near impossible task since she just wants to be as close to a human as possible, at all times.

It is difficult to see in the pics but she is a very dark torti! She has a cute little orange mark on her cheek.

Sadly she found in a gutter with her most recent batch of kittens in a neighborhood in Richmond, TX. We say most recent because she sure looks like she's had a lot of kittens in the past :(
Her finder is convinced she was dumped there because she saw Sadie sit in the same gutter spot for 3 days lost and confused. Luckily for Sadie her finder was able to find a foster for her and even found homes for all the kittens who were with her.

She doesn't LOVE other cats, but she could likely co-exist with them as long as proper introductions are done. She has met her foster parents dog, a 12 year old golden aussie mutt mix, who mostly just ignores the cats, so she would probably be okay with a dog in a forever home who doesn't chase cats.

Sadie's amazing finder is willing to sponsor her transport out of the sad state of Texas (where we are overflowing with unwanted animals sadly) via a trusted transport company. If you would like to meet this amazing cat please submit an application at the link below. If approved we will setup a meet and greet via Facetime/Zoom/whatever video conferencing software works for you!

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPPL/Cat

Sweet Sadie girl is fixed, up to date on shots, FeLV/FIV/HW negative, dewormed, microchipped and monthly flea control.

Her adoption fee is $150. We really just can't stress it enough- Sadie is such a wonderful cat and would be such a great addition for someone looking for an affectionate, mild mannered gal.
