Check out this adorable bonded pair! Sade and Mister Zeus are a 1 1/2 year old sister and brother that are looking for a home together - they were originally rescued from a local animal control as kittens. After spending some time in a foster home, they were brought to NAWS to increase their chances of finding their forever people.

Sade, the brown and white tabby female with the cutest face, has finally come out of her shell after being quite nervous and reserved at first. She was quite scared in our busy rescue environment when she first arrived. It took a lot of patience and persistence of our staff and volunteers to made strides with her and build trust. Over time, she slowly became more confident, curious and brave - she has now started to venture out to explore when her tower door is left open. She enjoys sitting in the window and watching the birds.

Mister Zeus came around a bit quicker than his sister, but he still has reservations about people and will need someone that gives him time to build trust. He is a gorgeous boy with his floofy black coat. He is energetic, goofy and playful.

These two need a compassionate adopter that believes that shy kitties deserve love too. They need someone who understands they need time and who wants to teach them how amazing love from humans can be. At NAWS, they now come to the front of their kitty tower looking for pets, but will usually back away when we open the door. They are showing they want love but also that they need time to trust those trying to show them affection. They sadly have grown up at NAWS and have waited so long to find their happily ever after. They love each other very much and provide comfort and companionship to each other, so a home together is a must. They will love you too if you give them the chance! Please be their hero.
