Sabrina and her brother, Sammy, are up for adoption. As with all our rescues, these two have a story that we would love to share. Pink Paws received a call that the kitties' caregiver had been taken to a memory care facility. The caller stated that the out of town relative had hired a company to clear out the apartment and had instructed the company to "just put the cats outside when they are done cleaning up the house. The cats would just have to figure it out". The service could not do that so they reached out to us. Pink Paws, of course, responded immediately picking up the bonded brother and sister kitties. They had symptoms of a skin condition, which has been evaluated, and is managed by a modestly priced medication given every other day. Sabrina, is the female of the duo. She likes wand string toys and treats, sitting next to you and snuggling with her brother Sammy. They are young, friendly and playful. Looking to help Pink Paws Rescue and Adoption??
Consider volunteering. We have a need for volunteers on the weekdays (must be over the age of 18) and on weekends in the cat room in PetSmart in Simi Valley. We keep some of our cats there during the week and they need someone to provide them fresh food and water, to play with them and to clean their litter boxes and cages.
We also need foster's who have time, patience, a room and plenty of love to give to hep us socialize and prepare our cats for adoption. Of course, if you don't have time and you wish to donate, we accept monetary donations as well as supplies.
