Sable's Story

Sable is a total sweetheart. When she is not playing with her brother Bruno, she is curling up in a ball on your chest and taking a nap with you. Sable loves to purr. She has incredibly soft fur and beautiful tiger markings. Sable is gentle but also enjoys playing and getting a little rowdy. She loves gentle pets on her cheeks, head, and kisses on her face and belly. At Sable's first vet visit, the doctor said she had a level 3 heart murmur. At her last visit, the doctor said that she couldn’t hear the murmur anymore. This is great news, but still something for her new owner to be aware of.<br/><br/>Sable is bonded with her brother, Bruno. If you’re considering adopting Sable, please consider adopting her brother as well. The two are inseparable and would make a great duo for any family.

Hawaii Cat Foundation's Adoption Policy
When healthy and ready for adoption, our precious felines are neutered/spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Only after all prerequisites are completed, the cats are then available for adoption to potential families who have completed an adoption application either in person at an adoption event, or by email. The Hawaii Cat Foundation continues to care for the cats in various foster homes until they are adopted to a safe and loving home with their forever families.

We are a nonprofit group who strive for the rescue, safety, and protection of at-risk cats and kittens. Once a cat has been rescued, we place them into foster homes for assessment, nurturing, and a healthy regimen of quality food, socialization, and basic medical treatments.
