Rye's Story
Meet Rye, the most confident of his littermates. He is a playful and curious guy who enjoys being pet and playing with toys. He is the first to approach visitors to the “kitten room” where he stays in his foster home, quickly warming up and allowing pets and cuddles.
Rye is being fostered with his littermates, Juniper and Barley.
Rye is positive for FeLV (feline leukemia virus) which means he can only cohabitate with other FeLV+ kitties. FeLV is species- specific and only contagious to other cats; it is not contagious to humans, dogs, or other non-cat animals. Rye is good with other cats; he has not been around children or dogs.
You are welcome to visit Barley or his siblings in my home where they are being fostered, I live in Saylorsburg, PA.

View the full bio/profile and photos/videos HERE:https://www.felineurbanrescueandrehab.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=21086525

All FURR Cats & Kittens are seen by a vet before being posted online and have been:

Spayed / Neutered to help control the pet population
Microchipped to help ensure your best friend can be brought home if lost.
Vaccinated; FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) & Rabies (which is legally required in most states). These will need to be kept current after adoption.
Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile
Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.
Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.

---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved.
