Firefox was a stray in Waterloo, Iowa, and he ended up at the Cedar Bend Humane Society. We work with this shelter and when they asked if we could help, we did! We took in Firefox to help out. Firefox is up to to date on shots. He has been dewormed several times. He tested negative to FeLV / FIV. Firefox was neutered August 28th, 2018. He is ready for his forever home!

Firefox is…
~ a very friendly and outgoing
~ a very affectionate lap cat.
~ full of life and makes me laugh all the time.
~ a talker.
~ very curious and loves to play by himself and with other cats.
~ great with people, kids and cats/dogs.
~ more of a people cat than a cat cat.

He would also do well as an only cat as long as his humans can give him enough attention. He will try to hog human time so if you have another jealous cat this would not be a good fit.

Firefox's adoption fee is $95.00.


WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $200 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
