Say hello to Ruebus, or as we call him "Rue" He's a handsome four-year old tabby looking for a new home. Ruebus is very friendly and affectionate with people -- he seeks attention and enjoys being petted, and he warms up pretty quickly. Rue is proud to be a cat, and saunters around his foster with his tail held high.
Ruebus co-exists with other cats in his foster home, but slow introductions to any new feline housemate is important. Ruebus is a big boy, who is currently eating a healthier diet, but can stand to lose a few pounds. Despite his size, he has retained much of his cat agility.

laytime with humans is a good bonding experience, but overall Rue seems pretty chill and not super active. He enjoys long naps, looking out the window, watching CAT TV.

He did come to us with his sister Fleur, and while they would likely enjoy getting a forever together, they aren't a bonded duo. They do get along well with each other, but neither is socially dependent on the other. They're both social and have distinct personalities and would also do well on their own.He is being fostered in Staten Island.
