Rudy's Story

Meet Rudy! This little man has a very inspiring and lucky story. He was spotted crossing a major highway near Reading and made it across 4 lanes. He stopped running on the shoulder and was quickly rescued by the person who witnessed his escape through traffic. He was only about 4 weeks old and his black fur disguised how much dirt and grim he was wearing. After coming into one of our foster homes, a warm bath and big meal, he snuggled into a warm bed and probably realized he had an incredibly lucky day!

Rudy is definitely a snuggler and enjoys lots of lap time. He's also an energetic kitten and loves to play with a variety of toys. He is a big fan of catnip balls, wand toys and anything with feathers. Despite his normal kitten energy, he does have a laid back demeanor and tends to prefer to curl up on a lap while the other kittens in his foster home play. He will join in for some rough and tumble wrestling. He's an incredibly sweet kitten and we know he'll grow into an amazing companion.

Rudy is about 5 months old (as of 11/14/25) neutered, up to date with yearly vaccinations, negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, wormed and flea treated.

For more information about Rudy, please email Lori at apcatrescue@gmail.com
