Meet Rudy, the most lovable, chatty tabby you’ll ever meet! Born around November 2019, this 5 year old sweetheart is a total cuddlebug who adores attention. Rudy is FIV+, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s fully recovered from a past condition called “pillow foot,” which made his paw pads sore and caused some swelling in his nose. While his nose is still gradually shrinking back to normal, he’s doing great! Due to his previous paw sensitivity, he’s still adjusting to regular litter. He reliably uses the litter box but prefers puppy pads in it for now. Rudy would thrive in a home with people around often to shower him with love and attention. He’s also great with other cats and children, though he hasn’t been around dogs yet. If you’re looking for a snuggly, chatty, playful companion, Rudy is your guy!

FIV is contagious to other cats only through bite and scratch wounds that draw blood. FIV+ cats can go to a home with non-FIV+ cats as long as their temperament is good!
