Meet Ruari
Ruari is a male Flame Point Siamese mix. Ruari has short hair. He is no ordinary house cat. This guy is highly intelligent, curious, and is extremely affectionate. Siamese cats are known for opening doors and cupboards, stealing items from around the house and hiding them away, and having the knack for getting into mischief if not properly supervised. Ruari can already push open doors, climb to very high places and squeezes through the tiniest of places. As a male Ruari is more laid-back and less opinionated than females and is a needy fellow. Like to be with people and in your lap if possible. This trio of boys are purr monsters and want to be lap kitties.
Most people immediately focus on the fact that they look beautiful, but please consider all of the Siamese traits as you are deciding whether to make one of these cats your companion for many years to come. Most Siamese are not content to sit serenely on the sofa and passively observe what’s going on — they want to be right in the middle of everything, helping and supervising whatever you are doing. This behavior extends far past the typical kitten age, and it is not unusual for a Siamese in her teens to joyfully romp after a string or toss a catnip mouse in the air.
Because Siamese require a lot of human interaction, toys, and stimulation to keep out of trouble, this is NOT a cat for someone who lives alone or works away from home for more the 8 hours a day. This guy needs a companion. A second (or third, or forth) feline companion can go along way towards entertaining your Ruari.
