Meet Roz (Neutered) (Photos 10/8/2025)
Roz is a magnificent male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on May 23, 2025 along with his sister (Celia) and his three brothers (Mike Wazowski, Randall, and Sully) after they were found in Marietta Ohio. They were estimated to have been 6-weeks old at that time and were surviving thanks to the kindness of a family in the neighborhood.
Roz has a sleek black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with copper-colored eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.
Roz was given first vaccinations on June 28, 2025. He weighed 2.6 lbs that day. Roz was given booster vaccines on July 15th and August 8th 2025. He has been given dewormer.
Roz had shared a large cat tower with two of his brothers (Mike Wazowski and Sully). They were happy outgoing youngsters who loved to play hard and then crash for a group nap. They were always ready for fun-and-games (and loved attention from volunteers and visitors).
Roz' brothers Mike and Sully were adopted together on October 18th, and we were happy to see Roz and his brother Randall reunited. Roz and Randall are sharing a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room and have become inseparable. We'd love to see them adopted together.
Roz is good with other cats and children.
These photos of Roz were taken on October 8, 2025 when HSOV Volunteer Wendy Irvin spent time with him in our 'studio' and helped him with his best poses. Roz thoroughly enjoyed his out-of-tower time and made the most of his 15-minutes of fame. This big boy loves attention and is quite the playboy.
Roz will be neutered in the near future (tentatively on October 13, 2025) and will soon be looking for a fabulous home either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
Roz was neutered on October 13, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 7.2 lbs that day.
Roz was adopted on November 14, 2025.
