My name is Royal. But my foster mom calls me Princess Pants on Fire. Just looking at me. Do you see a 1 year old semi-feral gal. Well I am. My foster mom said I'm adorable, smart, and crazy food motivated - whatever that means. I'm not going to lie it's been scary moving away from a life on the street to living in a house with people. They are big, noisy and sometimes move way to fast to my liking. At first I stayed hidden and scared. But my foster mom gave me time and space to get use to all this. A back scratcher and fur brush didn't hurt either. Oh, and did I mention treats. Lots of treats. The resident cat Hobbes was great to have around. Although I've heard mom say he's been a bad influence on me. I've come a long way in a few short months. Sudden movements and noises can still send me into hiding. But I really like being out and about with my foster family. I like playing with the toys, climbing the cat tree, playing with Hobbes, laying on mom's lap or watching the occasional Nat Geo Wild episode or basketball game. Mom says I'm still a work in progress but I am ready to take the next step and move on to a forever home. Ideally a quiet home with adults only. Experience cat persons willing to be patient with me while I'm continue my developmental changes. A home with a cat or cats is perfect. I like the company of my own kind. No dogs, please.
