This gorgeous dude (yes, dude) is Rosebud. Rosebud is a large male Maine Coon mix, approximately 2-1/2 years old. He was originally part of an outdoor colony, so when he was neutered he was given an ear-tip. But Rosebud turned out to be not so feral after all, and has been living the good life as an indoor kitty for the past couple of years. Rosebud is a very sweet boy, but might take a minute to warm up to a new home – he seems to like to take his relationships with a small dose of caution. His current home is with a 90-year old lady who fell and had to have surgery. She is now in a rehab center, but is concerned she may have to move to her son’s house in California, so we are helping to find Rosebud a good forever home. Rosebud is still quite young, and because he has only had one, very quiet, home, he is shy and may be scared at first. He does warm up pretty quickly, you just need to give him a little space in the beginning. Rosebud has the classic Maine Coon fur coat - he will need to be brushed regularly. Rosebud is not used to children or dogs and really should go to a quiet adult home. He is good with other cats and currently has several housemates. He is currently still living in his original home – a neighbor is looking after him and she will be meeting new potential parents there.
