Meet Rose

This is Rosie. She is an unfortunate example of why spay-neuter is so important. Rose arrived at The ARK with 7 kittens. Little did we know that she was also pregnant with her second litter of eight kittens at the same time as raising her litter of 7. Needless to say, she is now done raising kittens and is ready for a new, healthy life.

Thanks to her foster family, she has been comfortable living in a home and socializing as she raised her two litters of kittens. She was socialized with other cats, small dogs, and is house-trained. The foster family has a difficult time letting her go because she is so sweet and tender, but letting go of her opens a place of refuge for a new feline in need.

Consider adopting ROSE. She is waiting at the shelter for her new family to walk through the door.
