Roscoe Domestic Short Hair Cambridge, MA

Roscoe is a sweet 11 month old boy who was very afraid when he first came to Broken Tail Rescue but he's quickly coming out of his shell. We think this little dude is going to be a big boy when he grows up!

Roscoe's favorite thing to do is to play and run. He also likes other cats -- if you have an active cat, they will enjoy chasing each other in play. Roscoe wouldn't be a good match for other cats who don't like to be bothered because he's very curious and will go right up to them over and over.

Roscoe likes multiple back pets, soft cheek strokes, and back of ear/neck scritches, but needs a little more time to get comfortable with head scritches -- just approach his head delicately and not too fast.

He also likes it when you bend down in front of him and rub your index finger and thumb back and forth to make a "shushing" sound -- He trots right over and arches his back for a pet.

Sometimes Roscoe vibrates instead of purrs. You can't hear it but you can feel it.
