Meet Rogue

AGE: 6 Years (Est. DOB: 2013)
COLOR/BREED: Black Shorthair
KIDS: No
DOGS: Yes
CATS: Yes

HISTORY:
Rogue was found with her two 4-6 month old kittens in an industrial area.

ABOUT:
Rogue was likely never socialized to be a pet cat. For this reason, she has some quirks that will require her to have an extra special adopter. She has a history of co-habitating well with other adult cats, kittens, and dogs. She has recently shown herself to enjoy young kittens. She plays with them, grooms them, bosses them around, and seems to really have a good time doing it. She's very comfortable sharing space with other friendly adult cats, too.

Rogue has come to enjoy the company of humans but always on her own terms! She doesn't like to be picked up, but will tolerate nail trims. She will seek out a lap to snuggle in and some nights will cuddle at the foot of the bed with her foster humans. She really likes head scratches, but doesn't seem to like being pet anywhere else. She loves meal time and wand toys and she is very chatty!

Rogue also seems to be quite comfortable around dogs. She's curious about them, but unbothered by their presence.

Rogue's favorite thing in the world is a cardboard scratcher. It's unclear if she likes the feeling of the scratching or the resulting tiny bits of cardboard she gets to flail all over the room after a good scratch sesh.

Rogue will need to be adopted by an experienced cat owner. She will need time to trust her new home, but she has done really well in her foster home. She will always have some quirks related to her lack of socialization. She can be a bit unpredictable so she should not go to homes with children. Something that she would tolerate yesterday she might not tolerate today. Things that did not stress her out yesterday, might stress her out today. She would make a fabulous companion for another cat(s).

Rogue is a talker and opinionated and you might even say bossy, but also reserved and shy. Rogue also has a bit of a silly and playful side.
