Meet Rocky

Meet Rocky! "The Best Biscuit Maker this side of the Mississippi" His name may be Rocky, but he's a lover not a fighter! Rocky is a young fella at around 3 years old, and he came from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama.
Rocky is a gentle soul who settles right in to a new environment and seems to be pretty unfazed by most things. He is in WI foster care while we work on addressing his allergies/overgrooming, though his fur has grown back in quite nicely and he's looking tres handome!
Rocky loves playtime and is very social... within minutes of meeting he will be brushing against ankles and demonstrating the aforementioned biscuit making prowess. When he's ready for a good belly rub, he'll make sure you get the opportunity. He'll let you pick him up but may give you a little stiff-legged stink-eye in the process, and is more keen to lay next to your legs or on your lap while you watch Netflix, or supervise you while you are making banana bread. (He won't ask you to share though, he's quite the gentleman.)
He'll gladly come to you when invited, and may even spend some time snuggled by you while you sleep. When he's had his fill of socializing, he'll retreat to a soft bed for a nap until he's ready to resume his biscuit making duties.

Rocky was found to be FIV positive. Cats can live normal lives with FIV, and some experts believe that because FIV is only spread from cat-to-cat via deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats can live safely with FIV negative cats.
