I'm a chatty 7-year old prince looking for a loving forever home.

I'm fond of head rubs, chin rubs, behind-the-ear rubs, over-the-ear rubs, between-the-eyes rubs, over-the-nose rubs and also snuggly laps. Actually, I'm especially fond of snuggly laps. I'm pretty independent, but I do like to follow my favorite people around so that if they are ever in a sitting position I can make myself comfortable in their lap or near them.

My communication skills are top notch so you'll never have trouble knowing where things stand with me. I'll let you know when I'm in the mood for snuggles, and I'll also be clear when it's time for a break. Sometimes I just want to be with you but not do the cuddles. Trust me, I'll give you plenty of time to stare into my sparkling green eyes and admire my cute little pink nose.

I'm a pretty chill guy, but I'm not above a good old-fashioned bout of play every so often - rolling around like a log, chasing balls, jumping for wands ... and I might even be caught doing a Zoomie or two. No judging! But really there's nothing like a comfy bed, soft blanket on the couch by the fire or a bright spot of sun to lounge in ... or a snuggly lap. Did I already mention snuggly laps? 

I like the indoors, but I'm also curious about the great big, wide world beyond the windows. I stare out there and wonder about it. It would be so cool to have a catio of my own ...  or go for walks together. It just looks so fascinating out there!     

My old house was really stressful for me, but my foster mom loves me a lot and has made me feel safe. This has helped me show my best self, which if I may say so myself, is pretty darn lovable. I'm so excited to have a family of my own to love and love me back. Will you give me that chance?

Rider currently lives in a single-family home with 2 adults and 3 older children. His ideal forever home would be quieter and calm with only adults and teenage or older children living in the home. Rider's forever family must understand cat cues and be patient and respectful of his boundaries.

Rider gets stressed out by young kids and small animals. With a very slow introduction, he will tolerate other cats who mind their own business but would be happiest as your number one guy. He has not been exposed to dogs but will probably not do well with dogs.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
