Meet Ricky, a stunning 3.5-year-old orange and white male kitty looking for a quiet, dedicated home where he can truly feel safe and reign supreme! While he's been relatively low-key in the shelter, his previous temporary caregivers reported that he was active in their home, so we anticipate he will be a playful, engaged companion once he settles into his forever space. Ricky is ready to dedicate all his affection to his chosen human and has a wonderful purr motor. He is absolutely capable of forming a deep, rewarding bond with an experienced, adult-only owner who understands his needs. Ricky communicates clearly when he's overstimulated and may offer a quick nip; we are confident this boundary-setting behavior will lessen significantly once he is settled and secure in his forever home. For his physical comfort, please note that his lower back is sensitive and must always be avoided during petting. Ricky generally prefers to be the star of the show and doesn't tolerate dogs, but he might do well with a very calm, quiet female resident cat, provided she does not invade his personal space.
