Remy's Story

Remy came to our rescue after he was seized by animal control at BARCs animal shelter. Remy had been repeatedly abused by his previous owner, resulting in degloving of his chin which makes his tongue stick out a little bit., He is completely healed and eats fine, and has a great prognosis. <br/><br/>Remy is a happy fellow that loves humans to just "be around". He is not fond of other cats. He wants to be center stage when it comes to attention. We honestly thought it would be hard to win the love and trust of this guys because of his history of abuse, but he doesn't seem to be bothered much by his past. He doesn't mind being pet, picked up, or even getting his nails trimmed. He just loves having a chat with his humans. Although he isn't much of a lap cat, he loves sitting right beside you on the couch. His favorite activities are eating and purring.
