Remiel - FIV+ KITTEN in foster

Remiel and his brother Gabriel came to KSC along with their mother Lailah from an overcrowded shelter in southern Virginia. The sweet little family went immediately into a KSC foster home to grow up in a safe and loving environment.<br/><br/>For a kitten Remiel is very sweet and gentle. Remiel’s brother had development issues as a baby and Remiel seemed to know that he needed to play with him very carefully and not roughhouse. When the kittens were weaned from their mother, Remiel and Gabriel were combined with another group of kittens that were half the age and size of the brothers. Remiel was so sweet to this new little group, he groomed them, cuddled with them and played quietly with them. The younger kittens were thrilled and proceeded to thank Remiel, by biting his tail, climbing all over him, trying to wrestle him to the ground and ambush him. He accepted it all and continued to nurture them.<br/><br/>Remiel is FIV+, but has been extremely healthy and requires no medication. It appears he got it in utero from his mother who also was FIV+, who is also very healthy. Remiel loves to cuddle, is happy being picked up and loves other cats and kittens. He eats well and uses the litter box with no problems. He is a big fan of a window perch to nap in or for bird watching. Remiel is not demanding, he gently asks for things. He is one of the easiest and sweetest kittens we have ever had. He loves giving nose kisses, it is adorable and when he is really happy he will curl his tail and make a perfect circle with it. Remiel is your typical orange boy; sweet, charming, easy and just a bit goofy.
