Meet Relation

If there were a contest for World's Friendliest Cat, one-year-old Relation would surely be a finalist. Once upon a time, he had a home, but the person who meant the world to him moved away. Relation was found in the vacated apartment after being left there without food or water for who-knows-how-long. Despite being abandoned and betrayed, Relation has not lost any of his friendliness. As soon as he arrived in his foster home, he seemed to know that he had been taken out of a terrible situation and placed in a much better one, and he responded accordingly by rubbing against his fosters' legs with an enthusiastic purr. He's a little guy, but has a personality that fills the room, super friendly, and people-oriented cat who loves being around them to the point of following them from room to room. He's very playful and gives little love nips-- nothing even remotely aggressive-- that would make him a poor match for a home with small children, but a great match for almost anyone else. He gets along well with the dog and the other cats in his foster home. Because he is very social, he should be adopted into a home where he will not be alone for long periods of time. Relation seems to be an easy cat and suitable for a first-time adopter.

He has been:
- neutered
- vaccinated against rabies and distemper
- tested negative for FeLV and FIV
- treated for worms and fleas

His adopter will receive his medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. He's being fostered in Revere.

Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to him and provide a safe, loving home for life, then respond to RoyCBarrows@gmail.com. Please include your phone number for a faster response and say a little about yourself and the home you would provide for him as we try to match people with the right cats.

During the pandemic, we've learned that fosters supplying short video clips of the cats to potential adopters and/or connecting via video app, and adopters making their adoption decisions based accordingly has streamlined the adoption process. We are exploring the possibility of in-person meetings as the state gradually reopens.
