Red is a handsome guy with plush orange and white fur, a majestic tail and the prettiest eyes we've seen in quite a while. He's active and playful, and very eager for attention, maybe sometimes just a tad TOO eager for attention. We've found that the best way to play with him is with toys, making sure that we pet him with our hands for only short periods of time before taking a break. Our experience has been that the longer periods of petting cause Red to crave MORE, MORE, MORE until he forgets his manners and nips our fingers. He's got a kind heart and a sweet soul, but needs some guidance in the manners department.

We don't know Red's background since he made his way to Allie's Pals as a slightly beat up guy who needed TLC, a reliable source of food and medical care. It was obvious that the life he had been living had been a bit rough on him and that there were times when he went without the basics.

We're looking for an experienced cat person who will fall in love with Red forever. We believe that he would be best in a home without children under the age of 12 years. In a perfect world, Red would enjoy being the only feline man of the house as he tends to be dominate towards other cats.

Red is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, fully vaccinated (including rabies), treated to prevent fleas, and litter box trained. Red is estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old.
