Quirky's Story

Quirky was found outside in northeast Bronx at a private home that takes care of a very large colony. Friendly cats get dumped there very frequently. Quirky is sweet and gentle- she walked right up to me and walked right into a humane trap- she’s been with ever since. She has been with me since January 5, 2025. She deserves a forever home where she can get individual love and attention- she’s in foster with 12 other cats.<br/>It would be great if she got adopted with a rescue buddy from her colony (semi feral brown tabby close in age to her) <br/>If you have huge heart and know that new cats need an adjustment period of up to 3–4 weeks sometimes, then please consider helping Quirky and her friend Chutney (FIV+) have a loving calm forever home.<br/>They are both healthy, fixed and fully vetted.

Bronx Gatos rescues cats from the streets, we take on surrendered and abandoned cats, do TNR, and help community members get spay/ neuter services. We are volunteer based and independently do fostering and adopting.
