Meet Quint
*** Quint and Daisy are in our PetSmart Aero adoption center ***
Quint: orange tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/18/23, #18595
Daisy: gray/silver tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 4/18/23, #18596
Cats: like-suggest adopting them together!
Dogs: comfortable
Children: cat-savvy older kids
Quint and Daisy were part of a litter found abandoned in Campo. A Good Samaritan took in the kittens and worked with an experienced foster to give them their best foot forward after such a rough start to life. Now, they are ready to find a forever home!
---Quint was affectionately called "The Lifeguard" in his foster home because he liked to sit in the middle of the room looking all around so that he didn't miss any of the action. While this soon-to-be-big red guy will likely take his time getting accustomed to new people and places, his play drive (crinkle toys! little toy mice!) and his connection with his bolder sister give him the boost he needs to gain confidence and make new friends. Give him a safe space along with some bribes and encouragement, and he'll be your happy loving boy showing off his motorboat purr. While our bashful babe doesn't like to be manhandled, he is affectionate and wants to be near you-he has a thing for feet and likes to rest by yours.
---Check out the eyeliner on this sleek silver beauty! Daisy is the undisputed boss of the pair: she maintains order in a calm, polite manner and is never too far from the action (she loves dangle toys and lasers). While not a big fan of being held-she will tolerate it-Daisy enjoys sitting next to you on the sofa and watching TV with a paw on your leg to remind you that she's there. Other favorite pastimes include wrestling with Quint and giving him a good grooming. A passionate diner, Daisy is food motivated and relishes a tasty snack. Daisy also enjoys weaving in and out of your legs, so be on the lookout and tread carefully-our delightful diva is a certified tripping hazard!
The "Gunsmoke Gang" duo is used to living in a clowder of cats and are comfortable with large cat-knowledgeable dogs. While they are not technically bonded, they would love to live out the rest of their lives with each other, and we suggest adopting them together! (Daisy is great at comforting Quint when he needs a little reassurance.) Younger children likely would be a bit overwhelming for Quint, so we recommend cat-savvy older kids who know how to be patient and gentle.
Quint and Daisy are so sweet and gorgeous! Will they round up your heart and keep it forever?
