Quinn (DOB 11/05/15) is a five year old tortie that came to ARC when her owner moved and was unable to find housing that would accept cats. Quinn had lived her entire life with a single man, so coming into our shelter with multiple other cats and an all-female staff was challenging. Her first few weeks at the shelter, she just laid in her cat bed, too depressed to eat or interact with staff. One of our staff members took her home to foster, hoping a change of environment would help. She quickly bonded with the staff members fiance and spent every day sitting on the edge of the desk in his home office, watching him work from home. She became noticeably happier, gained weight and was soon ready to return to the shelter. Now, she is happy and chatty, one of the first cats to greet you upon entering unit two. She LOVES treats and snacks of all kind and getting her ears scratched. Quinn would thrive in an adult-home only home and would be good with other cats or small dogs. Quinn is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FELV, FIV and is microchipped. Email Sarah at Sarah@nokillarc.org or call 570 784 3669 ext 2 to meet Quinn!
