Meet Quincy
Quincy is 15 years old and a few years ago he was left behind, along with several other cats, when his caretaker moved away. At that time he was in bad shape and frightened by everything. A neighbor took him in and eventually gave him to a friend who has now come to us for help. This poor boy has been moved around too much.
Quincy wasn't exposed to many people early in his life and needs time to get to know someone. He is learning to appreciate human touch and will allow you to brush him. He just needs someone with patience who isn't looking for too much too soon.
Quincy lives with 7 other cats. He plays with most of them, but 2 cats are overly aggressive with him. Quincy is never the aggressor. He is a clown who loves rolling around on the floor. He makes squeaky sounds of happiness. He enjoys chasing the laser light and playing with his catnip toys.
Quincy has no bad habits. He comes when you call him...even faster when you say it's time to eat. And he will show you his feeding spot when he's looking for a little snack. Quincy likes to be close to his people but not necessarily on top of them.
Quincy is a sweetheart who needs a calm environment where he can blossom, and not be afraid of other animals. We would love to find his forever home, especially since he's been through so much. It would be great to spend his senior years in peaceful, loving, comfort.
