Meet Purrcy
My name is Purrcy.
My foster mom has a fancy name for me - "Sir Purrcival of Squeak.”
She says my name reflects two of my sweetest traits-my instant purr and adorable squeaky meow.
I was homeless and living outside at a local restaurant for about a year. I was very popular with the staff and diners, but desperately wanted a forever home.
After praying for a savior, one finally came. I am a low-key couch potato. I love binging on Netflix, Hallmark channel, HGTV, and cable news. I am friendly with my foster mom’s small cat-friendly dog and their resident cat; often I can be found under the bed taking an afternoon snooze with my doggy friend.
I am estimated to be between 5 and 7 years old and would like nothing better than a home of my own where I can sit in your lap or be tucked up next to you watching your favorite movies and tv shows (I am quite flexible about the genre of tv shows and movies). I like an occasional bit of exercise chasing feather wand toys around.
A couple other things you should know. I have a heart murmur and was diagnosed with a mild case of cardiomyopathy --- meaning my heart is just a little sluggish. I take a tiny tablet twice a day, which I happily slurp up in my favorite wet food (eating is probably my other favorite pastime after watching tv and napping). My vet says that there's no reason I can't live a quality life with a normal lifespan as my heart issue was diagnosed early and I was promptly started on medication. I also have a cloudy eye which you can see in my photos. My foster mom always says to people, "look at the eye that is looking at you." My personality makes up for these minor imperfections. I recently had a dental so teeth and breath will smell nice for you :-)
All that needs to happen now, is for the right person to come into my life so we can help each other live our best life. Could that person be you?
