Primrose is about 2-1/2 months old as of November 21st, 2021. Primrose was found as a stray in Waverly, Iowa, a couple of weeks ago. She had earmites and fleas which have been treated now. We got her shots, dewormed, flea preventative, tested FeLV / FIV negative. She will be spayed by the rescue when she is old enough. You can adopt her now and then set up to have our vet in Waverly spay her and the rescue will pay for it. You must be willing to bring her back to Waverly for her spay to adopt her.
Primrose is a little sweetheart and loves to be petted. She is constantly purring and begs for attention. She does have quite a bit of spunk too! She definitely can get sassy and has lots of energy. Constantly chasing after toys and she is litter trained as well as gets along with dogs and cats.
She’s been doing great and having a blast, made herself right at home on day one. Definitely not shy in the slightest. She is a very confident kitten and definitely has quite the voice on her. Very much a talker and love loves napping in the dog beds. Her favorite thing to do is chasing cat toys (especially the little pompoms) and batting the ball around on the toy where the ball sits down in a track and can be pushed in circles!
Primrose must be adopted into a home with another young kitty or kitten so she has someone to play with. If you do not already have a cat friend for her, you could adopt one of our other kittens. She cannot be an only cat.
Will someone please adopt Primrose and give her a forever home? $95 adoption fee + $100 spay deposit for a total of $195 to adopt her. Once she is spayed at our vet, you will get your $100 back.
WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $200 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
