Precious

Precious is up for adoption. She is 9 years old, up to date on shots, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV-. Precious is very petite at 5 lbs.<br/><br/>Precious came to us from Deming, NM shelter with her sister Frosty. Their owner had died, and the family could not take them in.<br/><br/>Since arriving at their foster home in April, it&#39;s clear that these two sisters are not bonded and in fact, Precious is a bully to her sister Frosty, who has taken to hiding under the covers all the time.<br/><br/>The foster does not have another spare room to separate the cats and she is using Feliway plugins and other calming methods.<br/><br/>Precious is very outgoing, sweet, and affectionate with the foster and she seems to really enjoy the attention that the foster gives her.<br/><br/>Precious would not do well in a home with small children. We do not know if she would do well in a home with other cats given what we observed.<br/><br/>We feel that Precious would be great for a senior citizen who is home a lot and is looking for some companionship. Precious also qualifies for our Forever Foster program or our Senior Cats for Senior Laps program.
