Poutine (bonded with Mountie)'s Story

**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**

***Poutine is well-named as the foodie amongst her littermates! She would love to go home together with her sister Mountie. Two ginger girls are a rare find!

These Canadiana kittens came into care with their momma, and have been educated on all the good things an indoor life can bring. Poutine may have taken a little longer than her sister Mountie to come out of her shell, but once she decided all is well, she became a sweet, affectionate kitten that cuddled up close to the people and revelled in all the attention.

Poutine’s initial shyness will pass once given time and space. She has warmed up, and proved her acceptance, trust and love through purrs, cuddles, and lap naps. She is an active kitten who loves playing with toys and her sister Mountie, but Poutine reserves her ultimate love and affection for food! She is what she is named after — an iconic culinary delight — and she is eager to make that love connection via food with her new tribe! Reservation is open now!

Would you like to make Poutine and Mountie a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
