POUNCE is a beautiful medium-haired tabby male kitten, about 5 months old. He is white with black and brown tabby markings on his silky coat and cute little white ear tufts. He has a white triangle on his sweet little face and a striped saddle on his back with a streak of white running through the middle. Pounce was somewhat shy at first, but warmed up quickly to his foster mama and now enjoys being petted and even tolerates being picked up when he's in the mood. He has a wonderful purr and will roll on his back, and let anyone scratch his chin, and pet his ultra-soft fur. Pounce and his siblings can go forever doing amazing ninja tricks, leaps, tumbles and rolls. He loves the wand toys and especially the ground prey toy, and is skilled at catching them. When playtime is over, Pounce will lounge around in the cutest positions. He will come up to his foster mama and flop against her, asking to be petted, and then when he's done resting, scurry away for more playtime. Pounce and his two sisters were discovered as strays in a kind lady's backyard, and were surrendered to our cat rescue group for fostering. As an active young kitten, it is critical for Pounce to be adopted into a home with another kitten (such as one of his sisters Puck or Packer) or a young playful cat in the home. Pounce is a delightful kitten who is going to turn into a gorgeous full grown cat. His gentle and playful demeanor makes him a wonderful feline companion for someone with a relatively quiet home.
Pounce has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet wellness exam. Meet Pounce in his foster home with an approved adoption application which can be submitted online at CatRescues.org/Cat or a paper copy available at either Eugene PetSmart, Petco (Valley River Rd.) or Wags! Dog & Cat Emporium. The $140 ($260 for 2 kittens) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
