Hi, my name is Poppy. My foster family likes to call me Poppy Seed (because I am tiny and black of course). I’m a dainty girl, but you would never know it! I can hold my own with my brother Parker who is a bit bigger than me. Parker and I were found at just 2.5 weeks old, buried under a large pile of rubble. We were covered in fleas and ready for some TLC. Our lives may not have started out easy but life has been SWEET since living at our foster home. We were takin in, (bathed…a lot!), bottle-fed (I REALLY loved that bottle – I didn’t want to give it up!) loved, nurtured and spoiled.
I’m a fun girl who loves to play and pounce on everything! Cat wands, my brother and my foster family are my favorite things to play with. I absolutely love to hide and considering I’m tiny and black I am really good at it! Let me tell you, I have quite the personality – some may say I have it all. I’m an active girl – always up for some fun. I’m adventurous, playful and goofy but I’m also sweet, docile and cuddly. I also get along well with the dog in my foster home. My foster mom says my face is the cutest thing in the whole wide world and pictures will not do it justice. You must come meet me and my brother in person. We are a complete joy to be around. Parker is a little charmer and a real fun guy. Check out his bio! Our personalities complement each other very well. And with both of us you are getting the COMPLETE cat package :) Please come meet us!
Please note: Cats and kittens are social creatures and greatly benefit from being with other pets; therefore, kittens under the age of 6 months cannot be adopted as single pets.
This kitty has had vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, has been microchipped and altered (or will be microchipped and altered prior to adoption).
Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).
If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
