Poppet's Story

Say hello to Poppet! She's a gorgeous, happy, good-natured kitty who enjoys pets and attention and has the most beautiful eyes! Poppet is super friendly and runs to greet her foster mom at the front door, sits next to her on the couch, and sleeps right next to her in bed. She loves gazing out the window, playing in boxes, and using her cardboard scratching posts.

Poppet loves to play and once she tires herself out, she will settle into any box lying around despite having a comfy bed to relax in... but what kitty doesn't prefer a good old cardboard box! She really only meows when she's hungry and is really good about letting her foster mom sleep. When new people come over, she comes out to say hello almost immediately and warms up pretty fast to just about anyone.

Poppet is such a fun, outgoing, affectionate cat who will entertain and bring light and humor to any household - her foster mom says this sweet girl would be gentle and patient with small children.

Poppet is about 1-1/2 years old and healthy. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and needs an alternative protein diet to keep her tummy happy. She is currently eating rabbit and does great with it!

If you're interested in meeting Poppet please go to our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/. Make sure you mention Poppet, then identify CLAIRE as the rescuer and fill out the form!

Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.
