Pond is a 2-year old affectionate cat looking for her forever home!

Pond is an affectionate cat who eagerly accepts all of the attention you can give her but is also content with being independent. Her fearlessness makes her a fantastic day-to-day companion, but her mellow attitude also makes her well-suited to busier families and individuals. She is unafraid to be independent, and while she loves to spend time with her people, she will just as happily sleep under a sunbeam in a nearby room. Her positive attitude is absolutely radiant, and her cheerful chirps and purrs are guaranteed to light up a room.

Pond adores being pet by her people and any houseguests and loves to spend time napping on blankets, couches, and cat trees. When the mood strikes, she will gladly crawl into your lap for some extra cuddles.

Pond would make a great companion in an apartment or smaller home as a cat with lower energy levels. She is best satisfied with a few short bursts of play throughout the day and is happy to engage in play on her own time if provided an ample supply of toys. Kicker toys and toy mice are her favorites, and she'll never say no to running after you during chores. For the most part, however, she is content to wander from room to room with her person and nap the day away.

Pond is a flexible cat that would fit in well in any home! She is immediately social with new people and is friendly with guests. Her gentle affection makes her an excellent match for families of any size, but she is more than content to spend time with one person. Given that she prefers to be pet rather than picked up and snuggled, older children may be a better match. She has experience living with other cats and would likely get along with other pets, given proper introductions.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
