Pompom was one of four cats that was rescued from a local business. Pom came into foster care a day after she was spayed and her ear was tipped. It wasn’t determined if she would be released back to her colony or if she could be a house kitty. It took all of a minute to realize Pom was a keeper because she was gentle and sweet. Once she settled into her foster home, although super scared, Pom allowed her foster family to give her lots of attention with pats and scratches, brushing sessions and kisses. Pom has come so far with trust but will need someone who is ready to give her all the extra time she needs to become more confident, less shy and build trust that she has started to with her foster family. Pom greets her foster family as they enter her cat room with sweet meows, brushes her body and face along their hands and will flop for rubs. Pom enjoys playing with the older kids (14 yrs and 13 yrs old) in the home and her favorite thing is to play with feathers on a stick. Pom loves treats, is super clean, and enjoys sleeping in a cat scratch box with a window view. While Pompom does not like to be held or picked up, she loves when you rub her all over and will brush up against you and even flops over for belly rubs.
