Meet Poly Posy (bonded with Popcorn)
MEET POLY POSY! (bonded with Popcorn)
Poly Posy and Popcorn are bother/sister, very bonded and will be adopted together. 'they are 10 year old domestic short hair tabby cats and Poly Posey is polydactyl. They have arrived at MEOW through no fault of their own. Their people found their lives to be busy and the cats were spending too much time alone.
They were featured on the Limelight Project, which can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lDbqAHzOXI
They spent three months in a foster home and this is what she wrote:
"Poly Posy and Popcorn are terrific cats! We have thoroughly enjoyed having them stay with us. They are so sweet and well-behaved. They are very loving and affectionate with both of us. They love being around people and will come right up to visitors and ask for pets.
They don't jump on counters (even though they are very interested in food), they don't scratch furniture (but they use their cardboard scratchers frequently), they don't hide, and they are quiet. They like to explore new areas of the house, so if you leave a cupboard or closed door open, they will probably check it out. Another favorite activity is bird watching out the window. They often play with each other by wrestling, including growls and hisses, but no claws or bites. Then it's right back to grooming each other and snuggling. They enjoy playing with "Da Bird' for 10 minutes or so a day. We also have a "Nanabug" that Poly Posy likes to watch.
When they first came, they adjusted almost immediately, and were ready to explore the whole house from day one. Whoever adopts these two will be very lucky and happy! We sure miss them!"
If you have questions about or are interested in meeting these two fabulous cats, please give us a call at 425-822-6369.
