Meet Pocus
Hi, my name is POCUS ! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Shy, observant, independent
-Can Live with Cats: Yes, could potentially live with another calm kitty who will respect my boundaries
-Can Live with Dogs: No thanks, dogs are too scary for me
-Can Live with Kids: No, I will need an adult-only home
-Requires Indoor Only: Yes, I'm much too nervous to go outside
-History of Litter Box Issues: Yes but only happened a few times - ask staff for more details
-Energy Level: Medium
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
Pocus is a shy girl in search of her forever home. She came to the shelter when she was just a few months old, was adopted out, and then returned. She's in need of some stability and a nice QUIET home she can call her own! Pocus is an observer - she likes to sit and watch for the most part, but once she's comfortable she can also be very affectionate.
Some things you should know from her previous foster home:
Pocus is more a creature of the night, but as she gets more comfortable she will assist you with your everyday chores (dishes, cleaning out your fridge, and cleaning up after them!) You might even feel like there's always eyes watching you. ;) She is not afraid to tell you when she's had enough, which is why she would do best in a home that understands cat body language. Pocus will need plenty of hiding spots in her new home to feel the most comfortable.
Cats can live upwards of 15 years, so make sure you're in it for the long haul before deciding to adopt. If you'd like to meet Pocus, the first step is filling out an adoption application!
